Educators demonstrate a broad knowledge base and an understanding areas they teach
During both my 391 practicum and my 490 they were topics I did not know much about. As I planned out my lesson and what I wanted to teach I did research in order for myself to learn and be able to give the right information to my students. I have broad knowledge in many areas, but as a person, you cannot understand everything, I think that’s where standard 7 can also fall under this understanding because you should always be learning and expanding your knowledge base for when you are teaching.
