Educators value the involvement and support of parents, guardians, families, and communities in schools

During 391 and 490 I sent a letter similar to this example I have. I send this home in case I do not get to meet the student’s adults around the school or at drop-off and pick-up. This letter gives parents a look into why I am in the classroom, what I am doing there, and how long I will be there. This letter also allows a look into some facts about myself as well

Ways in my practicum that I observed the teacher implement the involvement and support of adults of the students is through open communication through a phone number, letters/notes home every day to stay connected, and high involvement of adults joining field trips. Those observation was a big take away for me and something I see myself doing in future practices.
